Our mission is to proclaim and witness the Gospel in a Catholic environment. We aim to integrate these values into the entire curriculum and life of the school. Our school motto, ‘Follow Truth’, helps us to focus on what is truly important to us at St Munchin’s. The learning programme which is offered at our school attempts to address the needs of all students and aims to provide the broadest range of educational experiences so that every person can enjoy challenge, achievement and success.

Term Three, Week 4 - 9 August 2018

Interschool Cross Country
Recently students from years 4-6 competed in our interschool cross-country amongst six local Catholic Schools. I am pleased to report that we finished second overall. A wonderful achievement by our participants.

Uniform Review Progress
Thank you to all who completed the uniform survey conducted last term. We received approximately 130 responses from parents, students and teachers. The majority of our community is very satisfied with most of our uniform items with only a few items requiring review. These include the white sports top, the school tracksuit, school socks and unisex sports shorts for both boys and girls.

Book Week Commences 20th August
This week will include activities to promote the enjoyment of reading as a pleasure activity as well as for gaining of information. The P and F will be sponsoring a PYJAMA DRESS UP DAY to promote bedtime reading.
